Transforming a School’s Outdoor Space into a Serene Sanctuary

Scope of Work

To bring this vision to life, our expert team carried out a complete transformation of the space, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics. The key elements of the project included:

Site Preparation & Groundworks

• The area was carefully dug out and levelled to create a strong foundation for the new garden layout.
• A retaining wall was constructed to provide stability and structure.

Structural Enhancements & Finishes

• All existing walls were cladded with timber decking boards, giving the space a warm, natural aesthetic.
• A raised sleeper bed was installed, introducing greenery and enhancing the visual appeal.

Pathways & Seating

• New tarmac pathways were installed, finished with resin-bound surfaces for durability and accessibility.
• Handmade composite benches were custom-built and installed, providing comfortable seating for prayer and contemplation.

The Result

The completed prayer garden has become a beautiful, serene retreat within the school grounds. It offers a welcoming space for students and staff to unwind, reflect, and engage in spiritual practices in a calm, well-designed setting.
